Further Funding for Fri Night Outreach Work
Great news! BYP has received funding for the next year to continue to employ 2 sessional detached youth workers in and around Stockton Heath each Friday Night (7.30-10.30pm). We literally thank God for partners like Stockton Heath Parish Council who have consistently supported BYP to deliver this work in the local area. From Weds 14th Oct BYP will be going back to school. Our new School and Community Youth Worker (Georgie Kennedy) and John Harper will be delivering an amazing resource called Thrive to support the well being of all year 9's and year 11's. Georgie Kennedy joined the BYP team in September as maternity cover for Jen Anderson, who gave birth to Olivia in August! Georgie was a pupil at Bridgewater High, then graduated from York university and has lived in the area for many years.
